Major gas works on one of Weymouth's main roads have been delayed by four days.
SGN says its replacement scheme on Dorchester Road will now begin on Friday, rather than today.
The delay follows overrunning resurfacing work on the Esplanade.
Phased road closures will be in place, with the first stage running between Grove Avenue and Monmouth Avenue until December.
