Public Consultation Announced for Former Hardy Complex Redevelopment in Castletown, Portland

Portland residents are invited to have their say on plans for the redevelopment of the Former Hardy Complex in Castletown, including the long-derelict Hardy Block. The site has been earmarked for residential use in the adopted Local Plan.

Before a planning application is submitted to Dorset Council, the project team is holding a public consultation to gather feedback from the local community. Residents and stakeholders can attend a public exhibition to view the proposals and speak directly with members of the design team.

The consultation will take place at:
Atlantic House, Leisure Suite, 1 Ayton Drive, Portland, DT5 1EF
 • Wednesday 18 March: 3pm – 7pm
 • Thursday 19 March: 3pm – 7pm

For those unable to attend in person, all consultation materials will be available online, with the opportunity to provide feedback via the project website: hardyblock-portland.co.uk (live from Wednesday 18 March).
