Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash in Weymouth. The collision happened late on Tuesday night in Preston Road. Two people travelling in one of the cars were taken to hospital with serious injuries and later arrested on suspicion of driving offences. The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries. Officers are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.

The collision happened at around 11.30pm on 7 April in Preston Road and involved a black Ford Fiesta and a red Volkswagen Polo.
Emergency services attended the scene and a road closure was put in place while officers dealt with the incident and began enquiries.
Two occupants of the Ford Fiesta, an 18 year old woman from Weymouth and an 18 year old man from Dorchester, were taken to hospital with injuries believed to be serious but not life threatening or life changing.
Police later confirmed both were arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
The driver of the Volkswagen Polo, an 18 year old woman, was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police Constable Kier Dagnall said officers are continuing enquiries and asked any witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage from the area at the time to contact Dorset Police.
