Police in Weymouth say officers dealt with several incidents in the town centre on Saturday. A man was arrested after reports he was carrying a knife, with the weapon recovered by officers. Three other men were later stopped after suspected shoplifting, with items seized and their untaxed vehicle confiscated. Those involved were also given dispersal notices banning them from the area for twenty-four hours.
