Drivers faced delays this morning after a crash involving two vehicles on the A354 near Dorchester. The collision happened on the Weymouth Relief Road at Monkton Hill during the morning rush hour. Police and ambulance crews attended the scene and traffic built up towards Stinsford Roundabout. The northbound lane was blocked for a time while recovery work took place. Police later confirmed the road had been cleared and no serious injuries were reported.

The crash was reported to Dorset Police at 7.54am this morning and led to traffic building up along the route, with queues forming on the A354 and stretching back towards Stinsford Roundabout.
The northbound lane was blocked while emergency services attended the scene.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said officers attended the scene alongside the ambulance service and later confirmed that the vehicles had been recovered and the road cleared.
