Fire crews were called to a property fire in Weymouth yesterday morning. Teams from Weymouth and Dorchester attended Chelmsford Street at around nine o’clock after reports of a blaze in a first-floor flat. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to extinguish the kitchen fire. Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service says an investigation into the cause is now underway.
