Two areas of Dorset could soon see e-scooter trials launched if plans are approved by councillors.
The locations being considered include Weymouth, Portland and Chickerell, along with Dorchester, Upton and Corfe Mullen.
Dorset Council’s cabinet is expected to decide whether to proceed with the trial at a meeting in May.
If approved, the scheme could begin during the summer.
By comparison, e-bikes in Weymouth, Portland and Dorchester have proved more popular, with around 50,000 journeys recorded since the Beryl scheme launched in August 2024.
