Fire service thanks communities for support during busy summer

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service has thanked members of the public for their kindness and support after a demanding start to the summer.

With prolonged hot weather increasing the risk of fires and placing extra pressure on crews, firefighters and support staff have been responding to a higher number of incidents across the service area.

The service has expressed its appreciation to those who have taken the time to provide refreshments and look out for firefighters while they have been working at incidents.

Alongside its thanks, Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service is encouraging residents to share feedback about their experiences with the organisation.

Whether people would like to compliment a member of staff, recognise excellent service, raise a concern or make a complaint, the service says all feedback is welcomed and helps it celebrate good work, learn from experiences and continue improving the service it provides.

Anyone wishing to share their experience can do so via the Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service feedback page:
