A fundraiser is preparing to cycle more than 700 miles from Weymouth Football Club to every Southern Division One South team.
The Tom Warren Big Football Cycle 2026 will raise money for Prostate Cancer Research UK.
The route starts at the Bob Lucas Stadium, home of Weymouth FC, before heading to clubs including Portland United, Dorchester Town, Shaftesbury Town, Hungerford Town, Swindon Supermarine, Hartpury, Tiverton, Barnstaple, Falmouth and Exmouth.
Shaun Porter hopes to return to Weymouth on 3 or 4 September.
The challenge is being held in memory of Tom Warren, who is described as a local community figure in Weymouth.
He and his family ran a building firm in Hardwick Street, while Tom and his wife Betty also organised ballroom dancing locally.
The fundraiser says research is vital to help improve treatment and recovery for men affected by prostate cancer.
