A Weymouth man has been jailed for six years after attempting to rob two businesses on the same day. 49-year-old William Gage handed threatening notes to staff at a Post Office and a comic store claiming he had a weapon. No money was stolen and nobody was hurt. Police arrested him within hours following searches in the area.
