Weymouth Town Council says a memorial stone has been installed beside a new pathway in Lodmoor Country Park. The path runs from the Campion Close entrance, past the play area, and links up with the main route through the park. It was funded by a donation from the late Geoff Hoskins, a friend and long-time supporter of the park.
The council says the pathway will improve access for visitors and stands as Mr Hoskins’ legacy.
The memorial stone was installed in partnership with the Friends of Lodmoor Country Park.
