A children’s play feature has been removed from a park on Portland after being damaged.
Portland Town Council said its maintenance team inspected the spring see-saw at Easton Gardens play area following reports over the weekend.
They found the metal frame had been bent and the timber split, creating a safety hazard.
The council believes the damage was caused by misuse or vandalism.
The affected area has now been cordoned off while options for repairs or replacement are considered.
