Police Appeal After Four Security Staff Assaulted at Weymouth Holiday Park

Dorset Police is appealing for help to identify a man following an incident in which four security staff were reportedly assaulted at a holiday park in Weymouth.

Dorset Police is appealing for help to identify a man following an incident in which four security staff were reportedly assaulted at a holiday park in Weymouth.

At around 8.25pm on Thursday 18 June 2026, staff at Weymouth Bay Holiday Park in Preston asked two people to leave the premises after they were reportedly intoxicated.

It is alleged the pair then assaulted the security staff, leaving two of them with injuries.

The suspects are reported to have left the site in a white Land Rover with a black bonnet, black roof and yellow or gold suspension. Police say the vehicle’s registration plate had been removed before it left the holiday park.

Officers attended the scene and carried out searches for the vehicle, but it was not located.

Police Constable Bo-Martha Broadway, of Dorset Police, said: “I am now issuing an image of a man I would like to identify and would ask anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.”
