Portland Skate Park remains closed while repair work continues. The site shut earlier this week for essential concrete improvements. It is expected to reopen on Monday April twentieth.
Portland Town Council has confirmed that Portland Skate Park at Underhill is currently closed for repairs.
The closure began on April 15 to allow concrete work on the riding surface to be carried out.
The entire park has been shut to ensure the new surface can fully set and remain safe for users.
Council officials say the work is essential to maintain the quality and safety of the facility.
The skate park is expected to reopen on Monday 20 April, subject to the works being completed as planned.
Residents are being thanked for their patience while the improvements are carried out.
