Restoration work on Weymouth’s US War Memorial completed

Restoration work on Weymouth’s US War Memorial has been completed ahead of the town’s annual Memorial Day service. The Grade Two listed seafront memorial has been cleaned, with new Portland stone plaques installed and worn lettering restored. It commemorates American servicemen who passed through Weymouth before D-Day. The service takes place at 11am on Monday, May 25.
