Plans for a blanket 50p charge at Weymouth’s public toilets have been dropped after more than 2000 people signed a petition.
The town council had proposed introducing the fee at all facilities during a refurbishment programme.
It will now consider charging separately at each location.
Some toilets in the town already require payment.
