Weymouth Town Council has unveiled plans for this year’s Armed Forces Weekend celebrations. The event has also received four thousand pounds in funding from the Ministry of Defence.
Weymouth Town Council has announced details for Armed Forces Weekend 2026.
The event will run from 19 to 22 June and includes military vehicle displays, marching bands, parades and commemorative services.
The council has also secured a £4,000 grant from the Ministry of Defence to support the celebrations.
Highlights include the return of the Armour and Embarkation convoy and a veterans parade along Weymouth seafront.
The weekend will conclude with the raising of the Armed Forces flag outside Weymouth’s New Town Hall.
