Weymouth’sw Grey Ranks fighters set for international showdown in Spain tonight

Young amateur boxers from Grey Ranks Boxing Club are stepping into the spotlight this evening as they represent Weymouth at a major international boxing event in Torremolinos.

The team will compete at the iconic Palacio San Miguel as part of the VIX Combat Series, taking on Spain’s Postigo Club in a series of highly anticipated amateur bouts.

The official matchups for tonight’s event are:
 • Jhosua Ospino vs Rudy Randall
 • Sergio Calderón vs Albert Davies
 • Fabian Andrés vs Reuben Allington
 • Eduardo Zotano vs Akhmed Tagirov
 • Emmanuel Sánchez vs Scott Lyones

Among the fighters is Grey Ranks’ very own Scott Lyones, who is prepared and ready for his bout, heading into the contest focused and determined to make his mark on the international stage.

The event marks another big step for the Weymouth club, continuing their strong reputation for developing talented young fighters and giving them opportunities to compete abroad.
