Dorset Police says the assault happened at around 7.20pm on Tuesday 19 May in the car park of Asda on Newstead Road. The victim, a local woman in her 30s, was assaulted by two men. She suffered bleeding and bruising to her face.

Police say there were likely to have been a number of people in the area at the time and are asking witnesses to come forward.
Motorists who were in the car park are also being urged to check dashcam footage.
