A man who used social media to sexually communicate with teenage girls has been jailed for six years.
Luke Morgan Leon Burton, 34, of Carterton in Oxfordshire, has been jailed after admitting a series of child sexual offences.
The investigation began in April 2025 after Burton was found in a vehicle with a vulnerable teenage girl he had met following online contact.
Police seized and examined his digital devices, uncovering messages sent via Snapchat to underage girls, as well as indecent images.
Burton pleaded guilty to offences including possessing indecent images, causing a child to engage in sexual activity, sexual communication with a child and attempted sexual communication with a child.
He was sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on Monday 18 May 2026 to six years in prison.
He was also given a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and placed on the sex offenders’ register indefinitely.
Dorset Police said Burton posed a serious risk to teenage girls and urged parents to take steps to keep children safe online.
