Weymouth’s Mayor has held a civic service to recognise the work of volunteers and organisations across the town.
The service took place on Sunday 12 April at Holy Trinity Church.
Councillors, representatives from local organisations and members of the Youth Council attended the event.
Groups present included the RNLI, the Salvation Army in Weymouth and Portland and Weldmar Hospicecare.
The service is an annual opportunity for the Mayor to give thanks to those who support the community.
Mayor of Weymouth Councillor Caroline Nickinson led the event.
Organisers say the service highlights the contribution made by volunteers and community groups across the town.
