A number of Weymouth businesses have applied to Dorset Council for pavement licences. The applications would allow outdoor tables and chairs outside premises in the town centre and harbourside areas. Among the latest applications are Les Enfants and Rice & Sail on Custom House Quay, Rockfish on the Esplanade and Bridge House Coffee Shop in St Thomas Street.

Among the latest applications are Les Enfants and Rice & Sail on Custom House Quay, Rockfish on the Esplanade and Bridge House Coffee Shop in St Thomas Street.
Les Enfants has applied for 20 tables and 40 chairs between 10am and 11.30pm, while Bridge House Coffee Shop wants 10 tables and 28 chairs.
Each application is currently open for public comment on the Dorset Council website.
